The analytical department of the “Meat Industry” association has released a forecast for purchasing prices of live-weight pigs for May 25-31, 2026.

According to analysts’ predictions, the purchasing price for pigs may decline next week to the range of 72-73 UAH/kg live weight.
On the German VEZG exchange, the price for conditioned pig carcasses for the upcoming week is set at €1.60/kg, or 82.4 UAH/kg excluding VAT. Sow carcasses are priced at €0.73/kg, or 37.59 UAH/kg.
On the Polish CennikRolnicze exchange, the average price for live pigs is 4.57 PLN/kg, or 55.15 UAH/kg. The price range varies from 3.80 to 5.50 PLN/kg, which is equivalent to 46.10-66.38 UAH/kg.
