Перенесення дат посіву здатне позначитися на зборі врожаю та надходженні грошових коштів.

Every planting season conducted amid martial law becomes increasingly challenging for agricultural producers. This year, in addition to the military aspect, weather conditions had a significant impact, causing the sowing to be delayed by 10-14 days compared to average timelines.

This was stated by Pavlo Koval, Director General of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation” (UAC), during a broadcast on Ukrainian Radio.

“The shift in sowing deadlines could subsequently affect the harvesting campaign and the flow of liquidity. How we will harvest, sell, fulfill contracts, and how foreign currency earnings will come in – this is crucial,” noted Pavlo Koval.

He added that the economic reserves and stability of agricultural enterprises are diminishing due to the increased cost of material and technical resources, as this year prices for mineral fertilizers, fuel, and plant protection products have risen more than ever before. Furthermore, complicated logistics, constant shelling, and infrastructure destruction all impact agricultural producers, especially medium-sized and small ones, who lack substantial reserves.
